Another successful weekend
So this weekend I finally got to go to another PBA Regional with Jason. It was in Adrian, Michigan. We decided to just go up Saturday because he didn't bowl until 5pm. So we left early and got there by 2pm so we could watch a little. Finally, it was his turn, and he started off good, had a bad game or 2, but also had a great game or 2. So he just about evened out, and was +7. We were a little worried because he was +35 going into the last game and the cut to cash was +13. We figured he was out of it after his 172 game BUT he wasn't, the cut to cash was +6!!! So I was super happy I was there to see him cash for the first time. Of course he was disappointed because a 225 would have gotten him into the top 16, but I think it's a step in the right direction. So proud of Babezilla. PLUS Sunday was his birthday (24 - what an old man hehehe) so it was nice to see him for it this year hahaha! Love babe <3
This semester is finally winding down, and I couldn't be happier. I sooo regret not coming to SRU in the first place, I'm so behind and taking 3 sport classes at a time is KILLING me. But it'll be well worth it. I still have no idea when I'll get to finally be done.. I just don't know. I do know it won't be next May, like it's supposed to be =(
On a super better note, my dad got Jason and I an original Nintendo and i am PUMPED. I'll probably take my Super Nintendo home now and leave the Original up here. =)
ahhhh Well, I shall end there, I have to get ready, we're inducting the pledges tonight and I'm so proud of my Little! He did awesome this semester, as did all the pledges <3
My first post - excellent.
So, my first post. I decided to write it because my weekend revolved around bowling - yay! On Friday, I headed out to Jasper, Indiana with Jason for his first PBA regional. It was so much fun. He was throwing the ball excellent, and I regret to say he left more ten pins than I've ever seen in my life. He would have shot 300 probably twice if all his ten pins had fallen down. It was ridiculous. But he coverted all but 3, 2 of which were on fill balls anyway. He ended up +42, 13th place on his squad. We left, knowing it wouldn't hold up for a top 16 finish. He ended up 52 out of 106, which I think is great for his first regional - and we just decided to go a week ago. It was a long trip out to little ol' Jasper, Indiana. But it was a cute little town, and I had a great weekend. It was nice to see my boyfriend for more than 4 hours in a week =) So, we came home Saturday night and I decided to head back to my house instead of going back to school. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a chance to see my family. Plus, I got a new mattress - LOVE.
The new house is really coming together. So I spend the night hanging out with my sister, then on Sunday I spent the day with my grandparents. We watched Norm Duke do some US Open dominating. It made my life. I seriously love Norm Duke. I told my gramma last year after I got home from Reno with Jason for Tour Trials that I met Norm Duke. She didn't really know who he was, so watching him today I told her again and she's like "OH MY you MET HIM!? WOW!!" like, she thought it was so cool. And Norm came to Nesbit's last year and I was slaving away at King's and couldn't make it home. My sister used her pin as a birthday present to me, and went up to Norm and said "Can you sign this for my sister? She loves you!" And he wrote "Courtney - I love you too - Norm Duke" it was EXCELLENT. So now he's coming back April 12th and I'm hoping to be in attendance. Much love for Normie.
Nothing else really going on in my life. Just trying to get through another busy semester. Enjoying watching my sister, seeing her look at all these colleges and figure out which one is for her - bowling wise and otherwise. I wish I had half her talent at her age. I love her to death. ah.
Sooo.. I should probably get to bed and stop procrastinating. I love 8am Consumer Behavior exams...
